The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined picketer Ruslan Kunakbayev three thousand rubles for advocating fair elections. This was reported by a lawyer from OVD-Info Sergey Telnov, who represented the interests of the activist.
Kunakbayev was detained on October 23 at Pushkinskaya Square, where he stood with a banner "Return Fair Elections." The man was taken to the Tverskoy police department, charged with disobedience to the police (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and left in the department for two nights before the trial.
