The Rosderzhava journalist's period of detention was extended. The judge removed the press from the hearing

Elena Morozova, a judge of the Moscow Regional Court, has extended the term of detention for Rosderzhava journalist Alexander Dorogov until November 21. This was reported in the telegram channel covering this case.

During the meeting, the judge decided to remove the press from the hall. This was also posted on the channel.

The meeting was attended by a lawyer by appointment. Dorogov's lawyer Konstantin Barkovsky asked to postpone the hearing due to his busy schedule, but Judge Morozova refused.

The result of the meeting remained unknown until the morning of October 27, since the trial was held without listeners. Earlier, another defendant in the case, journalist Yan Katelevsky, had his preventive measure extended until November 21.

Dorogov and Katelevsky were restricted from familiarizing themselves with the case materials. According to the court decision, Dorogov must study eight volumes and 2,400 sheets in 10 working days. Katelevsky was given the same period to familiarize himself with 2,000 pages of a criminal case in a pre-trial detention center.

The news was updated after information about the extension of the measure of restraint.
