A court in Simferopol fined Crimean Tatars who attended a hearing in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case.

The Central District Court of Simferopol imposed fines on Crimean Tatars who were detained on October 25. It is reported by "Crimean solidarity".

Crimean Solidarity coordinators Ismail Vaapov and Dilyaver Memetov were fined 15,000 rubles. Ervin Emiraliev, Dilyaver Memetov (namesake and namesake of the above), Dilyaver Ibragimov - 10 thousand rubles each.

On October 25, police officers detained 21 people near the building of the Crimean Garrison Military Court before the start of the hearing on the appeal against the sentences against the defendants in the Red Guard case of Hizb ut-Tahrir. They were charged with violating the decree of the head of the region "On the introduction of a high alert regime on the territory of the Republic of Crimea."

Later, their defender Edem Semedlyaev, who arrived at the police department, was charged with disobeying the lawful demands of the police (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

19:15 The court acquitted Enver Abselyamov, Eskender Saliev and Yunus Bolat. Eredzhep Memeshev was fined 10,000 rubles.

The administrative protocol under Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, drawn up against the lawyer Edem Semedlyaev, was returned by the court to the police due to errors.

The report on the lawyer was drawn up because he refused to undress when the security forces demanded it. Instead, he removed his outer clothing and took out the contents of his pockets.

23:10 Zidan Adzhikelyamov, a journalist from Grani.ru and an activist from Crimean Solidarity, was acquitted.

• Rustem Emiruseinov, Eskender Abdulganiev and Arsen Abkhairov, defendants in the Red Guard case of Hizb ut-Tahrir, were detained in Crimea as a result of searches in February 2019. Since then, until the verdict, they were in custody. On November 3, 2020, they were sentenced to 12 to 17 years in prison on charges of involvement in a terrorist organization.
• Hizb ut-Tahrir has been declared a terrorist organization in Russia. Its participants are accused and sentenced to real terms only on the basis that they met in apartments, read religious literature and recruited new participants.
