On October 25, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Tigran Mirzoyan, a lone picketer, for 10,000 rubles. This was reported by a lawyer from OVD-Info, Ilya Utkin, who represented the interests of the activist.
twice Mirzoyan was detained on September 14 during one-man pickets, he stood with a poster "Duma without United Russia" near the State Duma building and near Lenin's mausoleum. After the rally at the mausoleum, the police drew up a protocol against the picketer under the "rally" article (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The Tverskoy District Court considered this protocol and found Mirzoyan guilty under the article on violation of the rules for participation in a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
