Kekhman headed the Moscow Art Theater Gorky

The artistic director of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater Vladimir Kekhman was appointed director of the Moscow Art Theater named after Gorky.

Kekhman was appointed general director of the Moscow Art Theater Gorky, reports RIA Novosti on October 27. The acting director was Oleg Mikhailov. The agency’s report does not specify whether Kekhman retained the positions of artistic leaders of the Mikhailovsky Theater and the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater.

UPD (17:07) The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation specified that Kekhman will leave the post of artistic and the Khudruk of the Novosibirsk Theater.
