Most of this year, North Korea rarely appeared in the headlines, but the “missile volley” in September-October again attracted attention to it. According to experts, the emergence of such weapons classes can “change the strategic situation” in the region.
Why did the North Koreans, having tightened their belts, gave so much effort to the military atom and missiles for decades? They believe that only a nuclear bomb will protect them from the onslaught of enemies who seek to destroy the regime? Or are they going to capture South Korea under the cover of a "nuclear shield"? Or do they use a “nuclear card” as a diplomatic trump card, including for blackmail? And the main question: what and to whom the DPRK missile-nuclear program threatens and in general-is it possible to solve this problem and how?
