The Chertanovsky District Court of Moscow has arrested artist Farkhad Israfilli-Gelman, who took part in the Pussy Riot action on Manezhnaya Square a year ago, for 15 days for disobeying police officers. Pussy Riot representatives told Meduza about this.
The artist was detained on the night of November 4 in the area of the Sevastopolskaya metro station, OVD-Info reports . An administrative protocol was drawn up against Israfilli-Gelman under the article on disobeying a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) for allegedly refusing to show his passport, and he was left to spend the night in the Nagorny District police station, said his lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov.
