In Stavropol, three Muslims received warnings from the court due to a religious meeting

On October 26, the Industrial District Court of Stavropol issued a warning to three Muslims Magomed Salamov, Radzhab Khaamirzaev and Magomed Gitinov because of an uncoordinated religious meeting. This is reported by the publication "Caucasian Knot".

According to court rulings, Salamov , Khaamirzaev and Gitinov were accused of organizing an uncoordinated public event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). They organized a prayer and religious meeting in the banquet hall, where they read sermons from theologians and performed religious chants (nasheeds). More than 200 people took part in the event.

The rulings say that Muslims violated paragraph 5 of Art. 16 No. 125-FZ "On freedom of conscience". It states that if religious events are held outside places of worship, they must be coordinated with the authorities.

The rulings also state that the judge considered the administrative case and imposed a punishment right at the police station.

All three pleaded guilty and repented, so the court imposed a minimum sentence - a warning.
