The incidence of Covid in Russia fell below 40 thousand cases per day

As of the morning of November 7, 39,165 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia, according to the federal operational headquarters for combating the virus.

This figure has decreased by more than two thousand people compared to Saturday, November 6, when another daily anti-record was recorded in the number of people infected during the entire pandemic - 41,335 people.

The total number of cases in the country has reached 8,795,095 people.

7,561,978 people have recovered, including 26,806 patients discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours.

Over the past day, 1,179 deaths from covid were recorded, and over the entire observation period in Russia, 246,814 people died from coronavirus.

• In autumn, due to the spread of the delta coronavirus strain in Russia, a new surge in the incidence of COVID-19 began. Almost every day, the federal operational headquarters reports new highs in daily morbidity and mortality.
• From October 30 to November 7, a period of non-working days is in effect in Russia, introduced in order to slow down the growth in the incidence of covid.
