On November 7, the first official advertising messages began to appear in Telegram, the launch of which was previously announced by the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov.
Posts tagged "sponsored" are posted in many major channels below the most recent post. Basically, they advertise new little-known telegram channels.
Admins report that they can't see exactly which ad posts appear in their channels, and also complain that they can't influence the nature of the ads they place.
Telegram began testing official advertisements on November 4 by posting to major channels a message posted on Durov's channel. The founder of the messenger promised that ads would only appear in large telegram channels with more than a thousand subscribers and would not be shown in chats and groups. He also stated that users will have the opportunity to turn off advertisements in Telegram.
