VKontakte blocked the page of the ex-coordinator of the Irkutsk headquarters of Navalny

At the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the VKontakte social network blocked the page of the former Coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Irkutsk Zakhara Sarapulov. He reported this in his telegram channel "Irkutsk insider."

“But I didn’t really want to be there. For a couple of years I have not published anything in this social network, and besides several photos of nature I had nothing there, ”he commented on the news.

On November 1, it became known that the social network blocked the pages of the supporter Alexei Navalny from Rostov-on-Don Timofeus Martynenko, the former coordinator of the Pskov headquarters of Navalny Alexei Dorozhkin, as well as the Novosibirsk activist of Vesna Vladimir Arzhanov.

In September, VKontakte blocked the pages of at least five ex-coordinators of the regional network of headquarters Alexei Navalny.

• On June 9, 2021, the Moscow City Court recognized the Corruption Fund (FBK), the Fund for the Protection of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) and the headquarters of Alexei Navalny with extremist organizations. Later, the Court of Appeal approved this decision.
