
The Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation Alexander Kozlov fell ill with coronavirus. Now he will not be able to participate in the climatic summit in Glasgow, TASS reports with reference to the official representative of the ministry Marina Evseeva.
She explained that the disease at the minister proceeds in mild form, there is no talk of hospitalization. The minister is now at home and continues to work in remote format.
In the summit in Glasgow, as well as in other full -time events, instead of Kozlov, his deputy Sergei Anopenko will take part.
The UN climate conference takes place in Glasgow from October 31. It will end on November 12th. Delegations from 200 countries take part in it. Several thousand climatic activists, led by Swede by Greta Tunberg, came to the city.
The climate forum in Glasgow has already been visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk and adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Ruslan Edelgeriev. Russian President Vladimir Putin did not come to this event. His American colleague Joe Biden said that Putin’s “tundra is on.”
