Regions reported on the number of people vaccinated among those hospitalized with Covid. Maximum in the Moscow region - 18%

The RBC publication interviewed representatives of the authorities and health authorities of the regions of Russia and provided data on how many vaccinated against coronavirus ended up in hospitals with COVID-19.

The maximum value was recorded in the Moscow region, where 10,335 people with coronavirus are now in hospitals, of which 18% were vaccinated against covid.

In the Belgorod Region and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, among those hospitalized, 12% were vaccinated against coronavirus, in the Novgorod and Vologda regions — 10% each. In St. Petersburg, this figure was 8-10%, in Bashkiria and the Kaluga region - 5-7%.

In eight more regions - Volgograd, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad and Lipetsk regions, Karachay-Cherkessia, Komi, Mordovia and Sevastopol - it was reported that among those hospitalized with covid no more than 1% were vaccinated.

In the Kirov region, among those hospitalized with coronavirus, 3% were vaccinated. The region emphasized that "vaccinated patients in 98% of cases were ill in mild and moderate forms of the disease." In the Stavropol Territory, after a full course of vaccination, about 2% were hospitalized with suspected coronavirus. In the Tver region, covid was detected in 2.8% of the total number of those vaccinated.

Some regions provided data on the proportion of deaths among those vaccinated against coronavirus:

• Altai Territory - 0.01% among all vaccinated;
• Belgorod region - 0.4%;
• Stavropol Territory - 0.007%;
• Tver region - 0.04%;
• Tula region - 0.006%.

In the Bryansk region, among all hospitalized 1.48% were vaccinated, among the dead - 0.49% vaccinated. In the Kaliningrad region, 15 people died with a coronavirus vaccine, in Karelia - eight people. In the last two regions mentioned, comorbidities were reported as the cause of death for those vaccinated.

In the Magadan region, 1,074 vaccinated people fell ill with covid, 325 of them ended up in hospitals, six died. In Ingushetia, as of November 1, there were 99 vaccinated people in hospitals, one person died among the sick vaccinated people. The Ministry of Health of Khakassia reported that among those vaccinated no one died from covid.

The Ministry of Health of the Saratov region did not disclose the proportion of deaths among those vaccinated, but noted that such deaths were "tens to hundreds of times less than those who were not vaccinated."

Some regions did not provide the publication with information on the share of those vaccinated among those hospitalized with COVID-19. So, there is no data for Moscow.
