In St. Petersburg, unemployed elderly people who refuse mandatory vaccination will not be allowed into restaurants

The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in St. Petersburg announced that restrictions will be introduced for people over 60 who refuse mandatory vaccination against coronavirus.

Working pensioners will face suspension from work. Rospotrebnadzor ordered, from December 16, 2021, to remove from work older people who did not receive the first component of the vaccine, and from January 16, 2022, those who did not complete the full course of vaccination.

“Unemployed persons 60 years of age and older who have not been vaccinated and have not received a unique QR code will have limited access to household and catering services, as well as a number of other services,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
