A man detained on Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow was sentenced to 10 days of arrest.

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow announced the decision to Sergei Ogarev, who was detained on Pushkinskaya Square during single-person pickets. This is reported by a lawyer from OVD-Info, Yulia Kuznetsova, representing the interests of the detainee.

Ogarev was sentenced to 10 days of arrest. He was found guilty under the article on petty hooliganism (part 2 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Sergei Ogarev was detained on November 13 at Pushkin Square. On that day, five people went out in single pickets with posters in support of political prisoners, for the change of power and against online voting. They were arrested one by one. They also detained Ogarev and another witness of the detentions, Elena Pashutina, who were without posters because they were trying to protect the picketers. Both spent two nights before the trial at the police station.

The court session at Elena Pashutina was postponed: she became ill due to high pressure, the judge called an ambulance.
