The Russian Ministry of Transport has warned that the requirement to have a QR code (it confirms the fact of vaccination against coronavirus or a recent covid) will apply to passengers of all airlines, both Russian and foreign. Bogdanov also said that the Ministry of Transport is considering providing subsidies to airlines. “We understand that there may be difficulties with business for them,” the deputy minister said. He did not specify what kind of compensation could be discussed.
According to Bogdanov, the Ministry of Transport expects that the government law on mandatory verification of QR codes on airplanes and other vehicles will be adopted by the end of 2021.
