The Perm garrison military court sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony an employee of the Russian Guard, Sukhrob Yerov, who is accused of committing sexual assault against an 11-year-old boy. This is reported by TASS with reference to the lawyer of the victims.
The court also imposed a fine of 20,000 rubles on Yerov and stripped him of his military rank of lieutenant.
In April, the defendant was sentenced to 14 years in prison, but in August the case was sent for a new trial due to procedural violations.
According to investigators, the 24-year-old lieutenant of the National Guard and the head of the food service of military unit No. 3411 pretended to need help in September last year, called an 11-year-old boy on the street and showed him his genitals.
A few hours later, the Rosguard entered the boy’s apartment, where he lived with his mother, a disabled person of group III. The security officer tried to rape the woman, but a child ran out to the screams and stood up for the mother, saying that he would fulfill any wish of the man if he let her go. As a result, the security officer took the child to a wooden outbuilding and abused him.
The defendant admitted his guilt in part.
