The Central District Court of Simferopol fined five people who came on October 11 and 29 to the building of the Crimean Garrison Military Court, where hearings on Hizb ut-Tahrir cases were held. This was reported on the Crimean Solidarity portal.
The court imposed fines on Ametkhan Umerov (10,000 rubles), Eskender Memetov (15,000 rubles), Ablyakim Menzatov (15,000 rubles), Aziz Adjametov (15,000 rubles) and Iskander Dzhelyalov (10,000 rubles). The note does not specify which articles were imputed to which of those involved. Apparently, some of them, who were detained on October 11, could be charged with violating the procedure for holding the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The activists, who were detained on October 29, were charged with organizing the mass simultaneous stay of citizens in public places, which caused a violation of public order (Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
On November 13, the court considered seven more administrative cases related to the arrests on October 11 and 29. All involved received fines.
- On October 29, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced four defendants in the third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case to 12 to 17 years in a strict regime colony. They were charged under articles on participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code), on organizing the activities of a terrorist organization (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). In addition, all the defendants were found guilty of preparing for a violent seizure of power (Article 278 of the Criminal Code with the application of Part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code).
- The police detained 30 people who came to the broadcast of the announcement of the verdict in the Crimean garrison military court. Neither they nor the journalists were allowed to go to court, despite the fact that the process was open. The police cordoned off the building and forbade entry to the territory of the court to anyone except lawyers. Then the members of the support group put on capes with photos of the defendants and the inscriptions "16 years - for what?" and "20 years - for what?" and lined up a hundred meters in front of the courthouse.

They were charged under articles on organizing the activities of a terrorist organization (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code) and on participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). The appeal against the verdict was considered by the Military Court of Appeal in Vlasikha (Moscow Region). The police detained 15 people who came to the broadcast of the announcement in the Crimean garrison court. The court upheld the sentences for all three.
- The Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir has been recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia. In various regions of Russia, as well as in the Crimea, alleged members of the party are being prosecuted for the activities of a terrorist organization. At the same time, members of Hizb ut-Tahrir were not seen in the preparation of attacks or terrorist attacks. The accused are sentenced to various terms only on the basis that they held meetings and read religious literature. On the territory of Ukraine, the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir are permitted.
