The situation on the border of the EU/RB is clear and understandable. All the more diligent cynical propagandists, political correct fanatics and just fools are trying to shove this situation from the orbit of uniqueness. There are several topics around which “countermeasures” are carefully advanced and discussions are provoked.
The first theme, beloved Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation: are to blame for the NATO messenger, who themselves unleashed wars in the Middle and Middle East and now received a “answer” for this in the form of migrant stream. Lie. Almost all “refugees” from Iraq are the Kurds, which Saddam Hussein had purposefully pursued and even poisoned with chemical weapons. If anyone won in Iraq from NATO aggression and the overthrow of Saddam, then this is exactly the Kurds. As for the second main source of fugitives, Syria, here the Russian Federation even shares responsibility with all participants in the armed conflict. Moreover, if the Russian military intervention had not saved Assad’s regime, in Syria, it was quite possible that normal peaceful life would have already improved.
The second topic is humanitarian: how can you not accept refugees who are saving from the horrors of war? This is the same as refusing the Jews during the Holocaust or the Armenians who fled from the genocide. This is a beautiful, but linden demagogy.
The “refugees” tearing to Germany are not saved from concentration camps and executions, but simply, like any people, “want a better life”. Normal desire; But according to the laws of all countries, it is necessary to have at least a visa for this.
And by the way, women and children, the presence of which compassionate citizens are especially pedaling among migrant crowds, are much less than strong young men. Which, of course, does not abolish sympathy for the seekers of happiness and benefits that have fallen into the trap.
Third topic, beloved Lukashenkovskaya: why did migrants accept in the EU before, and now Belarus is suddenly accused of “creating a crisis”? Argument for completely idiots. Yes, simply because thousands of Africans, desperately tearing by the sea and by land to Italy, Greece and Turkey, no one supported, except, perhaps, of local smugglers - and here we have a debugged state operation, including the issuance of Belarusian visas, aircraft station to Minsk and even a transfer to the EU border. Moreover, for considerable money, a significant part of which enters the state budget of the Republic of Belarus (or in the pockets of officials).
The theme is fourth, the only controversial: dog and tail - who wags whom? Does Lukashenko act independently or fulfill the order of Putin? In my opinion, this is a joint venture; For the Russian and Belarusian dictatorships, the border crisis contains a number of benefits, but not everything went according to the plan, and the advantages began to resolve with minuses.
The benefits of the Russian Federation:
The Kremlin, as a global "agent of chaos", is good for all destabilization of Europe;
In view of the upcoming (quite possibly) Anschlus Belarus, the final weakening and delegitimization of Lukashenko Putin is more likely into the hands;
I personally do not believe in this perspective, but many serious people, Americans, in particular, argue that the Belarusian adventure is a distracting maneuver before the invasion of Ukraine.
Benefits of Minsk:
"Coercion to dialogue" of the European Union - Merkel, alas! - calculating the softening of sanctions;
Marginalization - in the face of an “external enemy” - protests within the country, switching attention from a human rights and political agenda.
What was “went wrong”? Everything is simple here too. Firstly,
Brothers-hopniks ran into the most decisive and motivated Poles.
This is not Finland 2015 (then illegal refugees from the Middle East went to Finland through the Russian Arctic Arms.-Ed. ) . Remembering the lessons of history that were not in the USSR, one could recall 1830, 1863, and 1920 - and guess. Not all of you guys, the 1939th ... Secondly, sluggish and disheveled Europe, brought to the handle with the arrogance of the courtyard-comfortable eastern punks, unexpectedly showed total solidarity with border states and so far has been consolidated. Now, in order for the campaign to end - and it ends safely - from consolidated defense it is necessary to go to a consolidated offensive. Not to the military, of course, but on those fronts where developed countries have a clear advantage over the presumptuous hammers.
