The defendant in the “palace case,” Valery Evsin, was transferred to IK-2 in the village of Kryuki, Pskov region. This was reported by “Prisoners 212” with reference to the prisoner’s wife.

At the beginning of April 2021, Evsin was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony under the article on the use of violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). The court's decision came into force in July. According to investigators, at a protest on January 23, the defendant pushed a metal barrier towards a National Guard member. Evsin’s lawyer Maxim Pashkov said that the security officer did not receive injuries or damage.
