The defendant in the “palace case” Sergei Vasilenko was taken away from pre-trial detention center-1 “Matrosskaya Tishina” in an unknown direction. Activist Olga, who corresponded with the convict, reported this to OVD-Info.

On November 17, Olga sent Vasilenko a letter to Matrosskaya Tishina. In response they wrote to her that the prisoner had left.

On October 21, the court sentenced Vasilenko to three years and three months in prison. The man was found guilty under the article on intentional damage to property for hooligan motives (Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, he set fire to the wheel of a National Guard car during a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on January 31. In early February, the manwas arrested and has been in jail since then.
