Oksimiron has not released new albums for six years. And then in November, after three weeks of a stormy promotional campaign, “Time of Troubles” was released. Only it turned out that this is not an album, but a “mixtape” - a collection of already published tracks and verses plus four new songs. Since 2020, the state media holding RT has owned the rights to the “foreign agent” trademark, and since the spring of 2021 it has been trying to secure a monopoly on the “foreign agent” designation. In October, RT filed claims against a small company called Feelosophy Store, which launched merch in support of Meduza. Such actions, according to some lawyers, can be regarded as political censorship. Meduza special correspondent Liliya Yapparova found out how RT is seeking a monopoly on a repressive “brand.”

In Russia, a centralized study of the Russian Internet audience may be launched in the spring of 2022.
