In Moscow, an outstanding literary critic and public figure Marietta Omarovna Chudakova died. She was 84 years old. On November 3, she fell ill with a coronavirus, from the 9th she was in the intensive care unit of a covid hospital in Kommunarka.

Chudakova is a specialist in the history of Soviet literature, the work of Bulgakov, Olesha, Zoshchenko.

Endowed with a rare civil temperament, Chudakova since the end of the 80s actively joined the democratic movement, struggled with the rehabilitation of Stalinism, worked in the President Yeltsin's pardon commission, conducted huge educational work in the province, acted as a publicist, including in the "faces" .
