Participants in the “Army of Fatherland Defenders” telegram chat meeting were detained in Barnaul

Six people were detained in Barnaul, who came to the meeting of the participants of the telegram chat “Army for the Defense of the Fatherland”. This was reported to OVD-Info by Maria Ponomarenko, who was given the information by one of the detainees.

Valentina Skuchelias, Vladimir Skuchelias, Zhanna Ukvat, Nadezhda Zuga, Viktor Gorelov and Larisa Surova were detained. They were taken to police department No. 2 in Barnaul. It is reported that the detainees were forbidden to use phones.

The ideology of the "Army of Defenders of the Fatherland," the chat says, "is focused on building a unitary, socially just state as a Power of family order." At the meeting, the group members gathered to get to know each other and discuss goals, objectives and further actions.

16:36 All the detainees were released from the police department. Protocols were drawn up against them under the “covid” article (Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported to OVD-Info by Maria Ponomarenko.
