Yevgeny Tugankov, convicted in the "palace case", was released from the colony

The convicted person in the “palace case” by the year of the settlement colony, Yevgeny Tugankov, was released on November 19. He himself informed the OVD-Info about this.

• On March 31, Evgenia Tugankov was sentenced to a year of imprisonment in a colony-settlement. He was found guilty of violence against the representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code) because of the action in support of Alexei Navalny on January 31. According to investigators, Tugankov twice hit the Rosgvardein with his fist in the head. He pleaded guilty, and the case was considered in a special order.
• In connection with the detention of Alexei Navalny throughout Russia, a series of protests was held. The most massive shares took place on Saturday January 23 and on Sunday of January 31. The security forces reacted tightly to protests: on January 23 , more than 4,000 people were detained, and on January 31 - more than 5500 .
