Three people were detained on Red Square for taking pictures with Russian and American flags

In Moscow, Dmitry Androsov, Igor Shatin and Mikhail Rogov were detained, who were photographed on Red Square against the backdrop of the Kremlin with Russian and American flags. The detainees themselves reported this to OVD-Info.

The police took the men to the Kitai-Gorod Police Department.

16:13 Androsov, Shatin and Rogov are charged with an article on violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by Yulia Kuznetsova.

18:51 All the detainees were released from the police department, according to the legal assistance coordinator of OVD-Info, Alexandra Tsarvulanova.

• Participants in various actions are regularly detained on Red Square: eco-activists who wanted to record a video message, participants in single-person pickets with posters about Putin , against the constitutional reform or in support of protesters in Belarus , actionists and simply picketers with a smiley face or a blank sheet of paper . According to the federal law on rallies, the procedure for holding public events on Red Square is determined personally by the President of the Russian Federation.
