On November 12, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted two documents on the introduction of QR codes at the federal level to the State Duma. One of them should introduce a system of QR codes at the legislative level in the Russian regions. The second provides that tickets for planes and trains will also be sold only upon presentation of a QR code. However, the consideration of bills by the State Duma was delayed - it was postponed until mid-December. According to Meduza, the Russian government and the Kremlin are still undecided about the future of these bills.
