A court in Taganrog fined a local resident, Vyacheslav Ryzhov, 1,000 rubles under the article on the public display of Nazi symbols (part 1, article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by the "Caucasian Knot".
The post, published in December 2012 on VKontakte, was discovered by employees of the E Center. The representative of the press service of the court noted that the publication of the image with the symbols of Nazi Germany violated Article No. 6 of the Federal Law "On Perpetuating the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and paragraph 1 of Article 1 of the Federal Law "On Counteracting Extremist Activities."
The case against Ryzhov was referred to the court on November 22, the only hearing on the merits took place on the same day. The man pleaded guilty.
