Bastrykin accused Morgenstern of drug trafficking

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin accused rapper Morgenstern (Alisher Valeev) of drug trafficking on social networks. The head of the Investigative Committee stated this at the scientific and practical conference “The Role of Law in Ensuring Human Well-Being” in Moscow, TASS writes .

“Blogger Morgenstern today sells drugs, in fact, on social networks. He involves a huge number of our youth in his sphere of communication. And we all sit, abstractly arguing that man is the highest value and human rights cannot be violated,” Bastrykin noted.

In November, the Investigative Committee decided to check the video for the song Pablo for promoting drugs among minors. The check is being carried out against Morgenstern himself, as well as against producer Artem Klyushin and cameraman Alexander Romanov, who published the video on their social networks.

• In October of this year, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to check Morgenstern’s statement about Victory Day. The musician, in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak, doubted the need to spend large sums of money on May 9. Morgenstern later posted an apology in a story on his Instagram page. According to him, the phrase about Victory Day was “taken out of context,” and the media distorted his words “for their own dirty purposes.”
• In June of this year, the Zyuzinsky District Court of Moscow fined Morgenstern 100 thousand rubles in a drug propaganda case. She was seen in the tracks “Rose Wine 2” and Family. Later, the musician clarified that the lines that caused the complaints were sung by rapper Yung Trappa, with whom the compositions were recorded.
• In December 2020, the prosecutor's office appealed to the St. Petersburg court with a demand to ban the song "Ate Grandfather" by Morgenstern and Slava Marlow in Russia. The experts involved by the department referred to the incorrectness of the title of the track. The lawsuit does not indicate any other reasons why it should be banned.
