In the Stavropol Territory, police detained several people at a rally against the head of a collective farm

In the village of Grigoropolisskaya, Stavropol Territory, the police detained several people at a rally against the current chairman of the Rossiya collective farm, Sergei Pyanov. It is reported by Mediazona.

Several hundred workers of the collective farm came to the action, they protested against the head of the enterprise Pyanov and tried to elect a new chairman. The police, bailiffs and representatives of Pyanov considered that the action was illegal.

Lawyer Vladislav Kudryavtsev, who represents the interests of shareholders of the enterprise, told Mediazona that one of the participants in the rally was first knocked to the ground by the police, pressed his face to the asphalt, and then detained. On several residents of the village, the police drew up administrative protocols under the article of disobedience to bailiffs (Article 19.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• In the 1990s, the property of the collective farm was transferred to the collective management of equity holders. Some of the workers who came out to the rallies believe that Pyanov is going to sell the property of equity holders to the large agricultural holding Prodimex.
• Sergey Pyanov served as chairman of the enterprise for 30 years until February 2021, when the shareholders elected a new chairman, Alexander Grinev. After an appeal against the appointment, the Stavropol courts declared the decision illegal. Grinev was chairman of the collective farm for only a few months.
• In July, a criminal case was opened against Grinev under the article on the theft on an especially large scale by an organized group of persons (part 4 of article 158 of the Criminal Code), and later he and some collective farm employees were charged under the article on causing damage to property by deceit or breach of trust (part 4 of article 158 of the Criminal Code). 2 article 165 of the Criminal Code) and under the article on arbitrariness (part 2 of article 330 of the Criminal Code). The investigation estimates the damage at 250 million rubles. At the time of writing the news, Grinev and several employees of the collective farm were in a pre-trial detention center (SIZO).
