The winners of the III Championship in financial literacy among the youth of the city of Tyumen were determined

On November 23, 2021, on the basis of the “Boiling -Tyumen Point” space, the results and solemn closure took place, which started in the early fall of the III championship of the city of Tyumen in the financial game “Cash flow” among young people.

The tournament, which united at the gaming tables more than 600 boys and girls from a dozen Tyumen schools and secondary specialized educational institutions, was held as part of the financial education program “Youth Financial Initiative-2021”. It is implemented by the Tyumen regional branch of the All -Russian Public Organization of Consumers "Union of Protection of Consumer Rights of Financial Services" with the support of the administration of the city of Tyumen.

On the day of the final, in parallel with the gaming session, the final round table of the Youth Financial Initiative project was organized, during which the results of the implementation of the program this season and the prospects for its development were discussed. About three dozen guests were participants in the event. Among them were representatives of the authorities, leading financial experts of the region, leaders and activists of organizations of the non -profit sector, the media, representatives of higher and secondary educational institutions of the city, and, of course, the young Tyumen who took part in the III championship of Tyumen in the financial game “Cash flow”.

A round table started with welcoming words of honored guests. The deputy manager of the Branch for the Tyumen Region of the Ural Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Sergey Egorovich Chetverukhin wished the finalists to competently use financial knowledge received during the tournament in adulthood. The head of the consumer protection of the Federal Service for Supervision of the Protection of Consumer Rights and Human Rights in the Tyumen Region, Artem Aleksandrovich Nikoz, thanked the organizers of the competition for the systematic and high -quality work on the financial education of the youth of the region. Director of the Department of Economics and Strategic Administration of the Administration of the city of Tyumen Sergey Dionisimovich Tolstoy wished good luck to the participants in the decisive game, noting that participation in the final is a great success for all players.

One of the founders and the first head of the Youth Financial Initiative - Dmitry Vladimirovich Yuzhakov shared his memories of the origin of the project and organize the first tournaments in the game “Cash flow”. Then he, together with the director of the New Quarter Real Estate, Vladimir Stanislavovich Dynikov, spoke about the main prize of the tournament - this year the participant won the final game will receive a real cash prize of 15,000 rubles.

At the end of the introductory part, the chairman of the Tyumen Regional Finpotrebsoyuz, Svetlana Petrovna Meltser, officially announced the beginning of the final of the III -Social City of the city of Tyumen in financial literacy among young people and invited the participants to take places at the gaming table. The moderator of the final was the lawyer of the Tyumen regional branch of the Finpotrebsoyuz Albert Rishatovich Almukhametov.

In the meantime, the finalists chose game professions and were preparing to make the first moves, experts began discussing the organization and conduct of projects to increase the financial literacy of youth in the Tyumen region. The first experience in implementing projects on financial literacy and financial assembly on the basis of a higher educational institution was shared by an expert at the financial and economic institution of the Tyumen State University, an accredited expert at the project of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation under the program “Financial literacy in workplaces” in the Tyumen region Ekaterina Gennadievna Zheluova. So, since 2018, with the support of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance, the program “Financial literacy at workplaces” has been implemented, a set of measures in the field of increasing financial literacy of citizens of retirement age and more than 60 events with state institutions, non -profit organizations and companies of the real sector of the economy. Also, the leading specialist of the Center for Youth Initiatives, a former volunteer and head of the youth financial initiative, Anna Igorevna Rylova, shared her experience in this direction.

Then, the chairman of the Tyumen branch of the “Union of Protection of Consumer Rights Protection”, Svetlana Meltser made a detailed report on the implementation of the Youth Financial Initiative program and the third championship in financial literacy among the youth of the city of Tyumen in 2021. Among the achievements of the project, she noted that this year, more than 600 young people from 5 technical schools and colleges, as well as 7 schools, gymnasiums and lyceums of the city of Tyumen, took part in events under the auspices of the MFI.

Further, experts and public leaders imagined their views on the methods of increasing the financial literacy of youth using innovative technologies. The Chairman of the Council of Trud Alliance SO NPO, the head of the Social Technological Initiative project Mikhail Mikhailovich Meltser spoke about the prospects for using immersive technologies in improving financial literacy. Such training technologies make it possible to carry out full or partial immersion in the virtual world or to carry out various types of mixing of reality of the virtual environment.

Among the examples of such tools, the speaker highlighted:

1. Immersive learning is a method that uses an artificial or modeled environment, thanks to which students can completely immerse themselves in the learning process using technical tools.
2. The immersive performance is an interactive performance in which the boundaries between the stage and the auditorium are erased, between the actor and the viewer, between the character and the observer.
3. Educational quest is a form of conducting a training lesson connecting problematic, research, gaming and information and communication methods.

The idea of ​​the use of innovative teaching methods and technologies of virtual and augmented reality was supported by the head of the youth administration of Tyumen, director of ANO “Inspiration” Timur Yuldusovich Nigmatullin.

During the next speech, a specialist in working with the youth of the Dzerzhinets Center, the head of the ANO DMC Green Helpers, Julia Aleksandrovna Stafeeva, spoke about her experience in implementing projects in the field of financial literacy using social networks. Victoria Olegovna Bondar, director of the Earthlings Ecology Fund, shared the ideas for the development of quest games for children “Agrarian Exchange”.

Meanwhile, at the gaming table after almost two hours of stubborn struggle, the final game of the III championship of the city of Tyumen in the financial game “Cash Stream” among young people ended. The first place and the main prize of 15,000 rubles was won by Nikita Nazarov from the Tyumen College of Economics, Management and Law. The second place was taken by Rinat Surmanov from secondary school No. 63, the third place - Nisimov from Lyceum No. 93, and the fourth went to the Azamat Darzhanov from the “Tyumen technical school of the construction industry and urban economy.” Frauds and winners also received prizes and gifts provided by the Ural branch of the Bank of Russia, and the partners and volunteer of the project were awarded diplomas from the organizers.
