Glory to Lenon died

On December 5, at the age of 83, the poet Vladislav Bogatishchev-Epishin, known under the literary pseudonym, the glory of Lenon died.

Vladislav Konstantinovich Bogatishchev-Epishin was born in 1937 in Vladimir, in 1955-1966 he studied at Moscow State University at the philological, geological and mechanical-mathematics faculties. He graduated from full -time graduate school at the USSR Academy of Sciences, in 1966 he defended his thesis.

In 1955 he created at Moscow State University a poetic system of qualifications, wrote the “Manifesto of Kalitism”, also became the author of the first qualification book, “Pillars behind a swamp ...” (1955–59). Venedikt Erofeev, Anatoly Vinnik, Oleg Elokhov, Vladimir Kazakov, George Nedugar, Alexei Khvostenko, at different times were included at different times.

Since the mid-1960s, he held apartment exhibitions of non-certificate artists and reading non-certificate poetry. In the late 1970s, he became the almanac’s co-editor “New Russian Literature”, published in Vienna and published the works of underground writers.

In 1985, Glory Lenon was awarded in Paris the Prize of Vladimir Dal for the novel “A foreigner Misha Baryshnikov”. In the 1990s, he taught Russian literature, art and history in Europe and the USA.

In 1993, Glory Lenon, together with Joseph Brodsky and Vladimir Ufland, founded the International Academy of the Russian Littlecock in New York and led it (together with Victor Sosnora). After returning to Russia in 2001, he collaborated with the theaters of Roman Viktyuk, Yuri Pogrebnichko and Yuri Lyubimova.

The author of many poetic collections, novels, dramatic works, fairy tales and scientific monographs. Laureate of the Nonconformism-2016 Prize.
