“I asked for political asylum because I was being persecuted by the state. I was interrogated twice by an investigator who flew in from Moscow specifically for this case [about participation in an extremist community]. For me, there is already a court decision that I was the head of a branch of this organization in 2020–2021. At the moment, one coordinator (in Ufa) has already been sent to a pre-trial detention center in connection with this case. It’s only a matter of time before they come for the others. It is not safe for everyone who was involved in the headquarters of Navalny and FBK to remain in Russia,” the activist said.
