The Government of the Russian Federation allowed all citizens to freely travel to Finland by train. The corresponding document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information, writes Medusa (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent).

The decision was made against the backdrop of the impending renewal of railway communication between St. Petersburg and Helsinki. It was expected that the traffic on Allegro trains will begin on December 12, but it was postponed because of the new Omicron-Skamm Koronavirus.

At the same time, entry into Finland for Russian citizens is still limited: owners of the residence permit of European countries and members of families of Finland citizens can get into the country. For tourist purposes, only people vaccinated by the drugs recognized by the drugs can enter from Russia. No Russian vaccine is included in this list.
