Vladimir Orlov died

Vladimir Igorevich Orlov was born in 1964, received an economic education, began to engage in collecting and publishing poetry after moving from Togliatti to Mosvka in 1993. First of all, his efforts were aimed at the search and publication of poems written in the 1950s-1980s and never published in the USSR.

In 2004, Vladimir Orlov founded the publishing project “Cultural Layer” for the publication of collections of non -certificate poetry, in which the verses of Evgeny Kropyvnitsky, Yuri Smirnov, Leonid Vinogradov, Evgenia Khorvat, Anatoly Makovsky, Vladimir Kovenatsky, Sergey Chudakovav, Nikolai Stefanovich, Pavel Gromov, Sergey Sterge, Sergey, Sergey Stepanovy. Morozova, Eugene Herfa, Yuri Odarchenko and other poets. In a number of cases, he acted as an editor and commentator of books.

As part of the same project “Cultural Layer”, Orlov reprinted the 1st volume of the legendary anthology of the latest Russian poetry “At the Blue Lagoon”, composed by Konstantin Kuzminsky and Grigory Kovalev. Together with Ivan Akhmetyev, Andrei Uritsky, George Kantrishvili and German Lukomnikov was the compiler and publisher of the two -volume anthology “Russian Poems. 1950–2000 ”, which includes works of about 600 poets.

Vladimir Orlov prepared many journal publications on the work and fate of Konstantin Levin, Gennady Shpalikov, Vera Frenkel and others. Recently, I worked on the volume of selected poems by Nikolai Shatrov. He was the author of the large documentaries of Sergey Chudakov and Alexander Ginzburg.
