The defendant in the “palace case” Alexey Milyaev, sentenced to a year in prison under the article on the use of violence not dangerous to health against a representative of the authorities (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code), was transferred on October 14 to IK-5, located on the territory of the village of Naryshkino in the Oryol region . According to investigators, on January 23, during a rally in support of Alexei Navalny in Moscow, Milyaev took part in a fight with a police officer on Pushkin Square, hit the officer several times while on duty and tried to rip off his helmet.
On March 31, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sentenced Milyaev to a year in a general regime colony. The case was examined in a special manner without studying the evidence and questioning witnesses, since Milyaev fully admitted his guilt. The prosecutor requested two and a half years in prison for Alexey Milyaev.
