The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case after the body of a missing National Guardsman was discovered in the village of Anishino, Tula Region. Interfax was informed about this by the regional department of the National Guard.

The death “is not related to professional activities and is of a domestic nature,” the department added. No other details were given there. According to TASS , the case is being investigated under article of murder (105 of the Criminal Code).

The Tula publication Myslo calls him 52-year-old National Guard SOBR Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Kharlamov. His body with shrapnel wounds was found in an abandoned house, according to sources from TASS , RIA Novosti and Interfax .

According to Myslo , Baza and Mash , a fuse lever from an RGD-5 grenade was found at the scene, and a man was also “sitting in camouflage uniform on the sofa - his head and hands were torn off.” Myslo posted a photo of a room with explosion marks on the wall and sofa.

Kharlamov disappeared in mid-November, “he was last seen on November 19-20,” a source told TASS. According to Myslo , before this he was interrogated in the case of setting fire to the car of his ex-wife’s new companion, and the National Guard “failed the polygraph.” The publication notes that he also “has accumulated a lot of loan debt.”
