The director of the film "Assa" Sergey Solovyov died

In Moscow, at the age of 77, the director and screenwriter Sergei Solovyov died. It is reported by TASS.

Later, RBC at the All -Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) specified that the director died of a heart attack. The date of farewell to the director and his funeral are still unknown.

Among his cult films are “Assa” (1987), “Black Rose is the emblem of sadness, red rose is the emblem of love” (1989), “One hundred days after childhood” (1975) and others. In the 2000s, Soloviev took off ASSU-2 and Anna Karenina.

The director tightly collaborated with Alexander Bashirov, Alexander Abdulov, Alexander Zbruev and other actors.

The musical component of the films Solovyova made the director an important part of the Soviet rock scene-Viktor Tsoi played in Asce and sounded the music of “Kino”, “Bravo”, “Aquarium” and underground Soviet groups.

Soloviev was born in 1944 in Karelia and up to six years in North Korea, where his father served. Since childhood, he has been involved in the theater, in the 1960s he worked as a technical employee on Leningrad television, and later graduated from the director's faculty of VGIK.
