The magistrate of court district No. 422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow fined Twitter and Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook) 10 and 13 million rubles, respectively, for not removing prohibited content. This is reported by the telegram channel of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.
The court fined Twitter under the article on violation of the procedure for access to information (part 2 and part 4 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for 3 and 7 million rubles, respectively. Meta Platforms received fines of 5 million, 5 million and 3 million rubles under the same article under three administrative protocols.
According to Novaya Gazeta, the amount of fines against Meta Platforms reached 57 million rubles, and Twitter - 48 million rubles.
