
A new museum will appear in St. Petersburg - the history and archeology of the city. Vice Governor Boris Piotrovsky announced this in his Telegram channel.
As the message says, the institution will be created on the basis of the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg in the Peter and Paul Fortress. At the same time, part of the exhibition dedicated to the Swedish period will be located on Cape Okhta.
The concept of the new museum was prepared by the city government, the Ministry of Culture and Gazprom, Piotrovsky clarified. Earlier, this project was announced on Radio Russia by the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, but without details.
