The court prohibited the person involved in the Rashkin case of illegal hunting from using communication means and leaving the house at night

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow imposed a ban on certain actions to Alexander Gnoshev, the defendant in the case of illegal hunting (part 2 of article 258 of the Criminal Code), which also includes State Duma deputy from the Communist Party Valery Rashkin. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the court.

Gnoshev was forbidden until the end of February to visit hunting grounds, use the telephone, the Internet and other means of communication, communicate with other defendants in the case, and leave their homes at night. He's already been charged.

Rashkin a week ago, the court appointed a similar measure of restraint. According to investigators, he shot a moose on the territory of the Lebedka hunting estate in the Saratov region, without having the appropriate permission. The deputy was detained at the end of October with the carcass of an animal in the car.

The media wrote, citing sources, that the deputy was driving while intoxicated, and there was an elk carcass in the trunk of his car. The deputy at first claimed that he had simply found the carcass in the forest, but then confessed to killing the animal in a video message.

After the incident was made public, Rashkin was stripped of his parliamentary immunity. At the meeting of the Duma commission on ethics, which made this decision, the deputy's lawyer was not allowed, in connection with which he filed a lawsuit with the Tverskoy Court of Moscow.

In the fall, Rashkin ran for the State Duma elections and was in the lead in his constituency, excluding "electronic" votes. After all the votes were recounted, the victory was given to the United Russia candidate. Then the deputy organized a meeting of those who disagreed with the results of the elections to the State Duma on Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow, it was held on September 20. The press service of the Moscow department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 30 participants of the meeting were brought to administrative responsibility.
