In Primorye, a former primary school teacher, and now the deputy chairman of the government and the Minister of Culture, banned the performance of Vasily Shukshin “to the third roosters”. The production at the regional Puppet Theater revived the long -forgotten tradition of evening performances for adults. However, despite the age limit “18+”, on the stage - neither nudity nor mat, as there is, of course, in the author’s text. Well, is it a hint of “close relationships” between the daughter of Baba Yaga and Ivan Durak, but they didn’t end there. Yes, and from the original material, said the “new” director Vadim Perfilov, did not leave. On December 21, the cultural community shuddered: “roosters” immediately after the premiere are prohibited by the personal instructions of Elena Bronnikova! Everyone knows about this, but the Ministry of Culture did not essentially comment on the situation. The troupe is only guessing about the reasons.

According to the plot of Shukshin’s fairy tale, one evening in the library, the characters of Russian folklore and classical literature at the meeting began to think: can Ivan-Durak live next to them? We decided that the fool should go to the sage and get a certificate that he was smart. And bring it to the third roosters. He, in fact, went. He met a woman-yaga, her daughter, the snake of Gorynych, devils (though he refused their linden certificate!), Nesmeyan and other recognizable heroes. A kind of instructive road adventure with the ridicule of bureaucrats. “To the third roosters” is a work that Vasily Shukshin wrote a year before his death, and it was published after his departure. The plays on a fairy tale were put on many Russian scenes, but in Primorye, the regional doll theater turns to the work of the author for the first time.

Sources were told about the ban on Novaya Gazeta, who added that Elena Bronnikova was present at one of the premiere performances on December 19 and even shot him on the video.

“Yes,” the director of the theater Alexander Ponkratenko confirmed, “the performance was really shot.” This was reported to me, referring to the decision of Elena Nikolaevna, our curator in the Ministry of Culture Alexander Gorbovskaya ( consultant to the organizational and analytical department for working with state, municipal and other organizations in the field of culture of the Ministry.- V.F. ) . The reasons are unknown to me. The director of the play Vadim Perfilov calls it “good PR” with a smile, but does not know about the reasons for the ban.

But actually, we did not move away from the work of Shukshin. I personally wrote the script, it is as close as possible to the author’s text. It is funny that the performance is staged in the framework of the United Russia project, which supports regional theaters.

“Anything” on the money that the party gives is impossible to put - the repertoire is claimed, only well -known authors, classics are taken.

In the organizational and analytical department of the Ministry of Culture, “Novy” replied that they could not comment yet. It was also not possible to get clarifications of Minister of Bronnikova. Although the publication of the “Rise” in the Ministry of Culture of Primorye gave a general answer, saying that many performances are canceled in the region, so it is not clear why such a stir in the case of Shukshin. “If there were a full house there at the premiere, and the public would have been clear such a lively interest,” the publication quotes officials.

In social networks (screenshots were preserved, later the posts were removed), the theater director Lydia Vasilenko reported that the play was not postponed, but simply banned. And she wrote that this is a “directive from above”, and the reason is that someone did not like the name. In personal conversations, cultural figures, however, also pointed to Elena Bronnikov. Later, according to theatricalists, the Youth was asked to replace all the plays whose reading was appointed for subsequent Thursdays. The team refused, so the entire project was canceled.
