The decision to block was made by the Lukhovitsky District Court of the Moscow Region at the request of the local prosecutor.

According to human rights activists, on December 13, a letter came to the project without an addressee with a demand to come to the Lukhovitskaya prosecutor’s office at 10 a.m. on December 14. When the lawyer of the OVD-Info came to the department, she was not explained the essence of the claims, human rights activists emphasize.

On Wednesday, December 15, the blocking materials were transferred to the court without reporting this project, and on December 20 the court issued a decision. OVD-Info adds that he has not yet received a notification from Roskomnadzor and does not know the reason for the blocking.

“We consider this secretive blocking by an act of state censorship, the purpose of which is to stop our work. We do not recognize censorship and continue to work the project. We will definitely appeal the court decision and make everything possible so that you always have access to our news, services, legal instructions and other materials, ”the statement of human rights activists said .

The register of Roskomnadzor says that access is limited to the entire site and to a separate page. Presumably, the claims of the prosecutor’s office could cause a separate material of the project.
