In Tomsk, the former head of Tomsk and city Duma deputy Ksenia Fadeeva was detained. This was reported by the TV2 agency, citing unnamed sources.
According to TV2, the oppositionist was taken to the building of the Investigative Committee, and her home was being searched by “police officers from Moscow.” According to preliminary data, the agency claims, Fadeeva will be taken from Tomsk to Moscow for interrogation.
An unnamed TV2 source added that the deputy is suspected of organizing an extremist community using her official position (cha)
“She is suspected of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 282.1, Part 3 of Article 239 of the Criminal Code,” added the TV2 source.
