Kommersant-Kazan removed, at the request of Roskomnadzor, news about the real estate of the former Minister of Construction of Tatarstan Marat Khusnullin, written based on an article by Open Media.

The regulator explained the requirement to remove news with the headline “Assets worth 3.2 billion rubles were found in the family of Marat Khusnullin” by the presence of “information materials from a foreign or international non-governmental organization whose activities are recognized as undesirable.”

The news has now been deleted , but can be found in the web archive.

The note, citing Open Media, said that the Khusnullin family manages a portfolio of plots in Tatarstan with an area of ​​86 square kilometers.

Znak.com and at the request of Roskomnadzor also deleted notes written on the news of the projects of ex-head of YUKOS Mikhail Khodorkovsky “MBH Media” and “Open Media”. The regulator also blocked the material of the Magadan publication “Vesma”, which contained a link to “Open Media”.

Khodorkovsky’s projects stopped working this August at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office and after blocking by Roskomnadzor. The regulator called them “information resources of the Open Russia Civic Movement, Open Russia ,” which in 2017 the Prosecutor General’s Office recognized as “undesirable organizations.” Khodorkovsky noted that MBKh Media is not associated with Open Russia and “belongs to him personally.”
