“I have a popular discussion” of the next redrawing of the non -working Belarusian Constitution - this is just Lukashenko’s preparation for a meeting with Putin

The Belarusian government has not been presenting any surprises for a long time. Everything is familiar: arrests, denunciations, sentences. The thirty -seventh lasts the second year. But on Monday, all pro -government and simply controlled analysts was given an order to discuss constitutional reform. This is what they do the second day, although there is decisively discussing there.

The only reason all this happens is the publication of the “new project” and “Wide discussion by the masses at enterprises” is Lukashenko’s preparation for a meeting with Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg. For this New Year’s meeting, he will be well prepared: constitutional reform in the stage of discussion, soon the people will determine their future in a referendum, a highly organized Belarusian society abandoned their protest moods and is entirely occupied by discussions on the theme of the constitution. In fact, society understands everything perfectly and is not going to discuss anything - with the exception of red agitators at enterprises and state political scientists on television screens.

Because seriously to discuss this project is like seriously discussing the Stalinist constitution, asking what rights this gives to the people and how the Basic Law limits the power of power. The answer is simple: no rights and in any way limit. With dictatorships there are neither laws nor rights. And to deny this by a comprehensive analysis of this new one as if reform means exposing yourself to idiots, which is not included in the plans of Belarusians.

If someone outside Belarus is still curious that there is now presented on Belarusian television as a big breakthrough in state construction, then the answer is simple: nothing.

The next Lukashenkovo ​​changes in the Constitution do not affect either him or the Belarusian people. This is the usual propaganda spam.

Unless the All -Belorussian People’s Assembly is endowed with a constitutional status and will be able to affirm the legitimacy of the elections. But to occupy the post of head of this meeting, which for some reason gathered in Belarus has already six times and was engaged in the approval of the five-year plan (you were not heard, in Belarus of the twenty-first century, the programs of five-year-olds are approved by delegates), probably the same Lukashenko will be. His new Constitution also claims that now Belarus will return to the practice of two presidential terms, as it was before the 2004 referendum. But these changes will not have return, so Lukashenko will again advance in the elections of 2025 for the first time.

And what will happen there after 2035, when he turns 81, he intends to come up later. There is time. In any case, Lukashenko thinks so. Or pretends to be much more likely.
