The weather forecast for the New Year has already changed several times: at first, weather forecasters said that it would be warm, then they warned about cooling.

What is known about the weather three days before New Year's Eve? And what can the first days of 2022 be? “Paper” found out from the leading specialist of the Center “Fobos” Mikhail Leus.

- In St. Petersburg, the New Year will be quite warm and comfortable in terms of weather. On New Year's Eve, the region will be under the influence of the warm sector of the cyclone. Mostly cloudy weather will be, at times, snow.

On New Year's Eve itself, the temperature will be from –2 to –4 degrees. On the afternoon of December 31, there will be the same temperature, and in the afternoon of the 1st-a little warmer, from –1 to –3.

On January 1, the cyclone will begin to leave, clarifications will appear in the clouds. The snow will become short -term. And if, say, at the beginning of the day the temperature will be in the range of –1 to –3 degrees, then by the evening it will noticeably get colder - up to –5 ... –7.

On the night of 2 [January, it will get colder] up to –10 degrees. And in the afternoon it will be warm again, again [it will go] snow. [The temperature will be] –2 ... –4 degrees.

But, of course, something else can change-this is the weather.
