Irkutsk: ex-head of the headquarters of Navalny elected a preventive measure

Today, searches have passed at least four ex-coordinators of the headquarters of Navalny (recognized in Russia by an extremist organization and prohibited) from the Irkutsk, Tomsk, Saratov regions and the Altai Territory. Relatives and colleagues report the detention of three - the ex -coordinator of the headquarters in Irkutsk Zakhara Sarapulov, in Tomsk - Ksenia Fadeeva, in Saratov - Andrei Gorodetsky. Information about the detention of Vadim Ostanin from Barnaul has not yet been confirmed - searches took place in his mother’s house.

All three detainees were charged with the creation or participation in the extremist community using their official position (part 3 of Article 282.1), the editorial office of Siberia. Activist from the Irkutsk region Alexei Tupitsin said.

According to him, the detention in the case of participation in the extremist community, due to which several former coordinators of Navalny’s headquarters left Russia, were predicted two weeks ago, but Fadeev and Sarapulov categorically refused to leave Russia. “He was told two weeks ago that he would leave Russia. They said, buy tickets, and that’s all. But he ignored it, said that he would be to the end. Of course, he knew that he would go according to the Chanyshheva scenario - the seizure to the trial and there are horseback periods - from 7 to 12 years,” said Alexei Tupitsin.

Lawyers were made to Fadeeva and Sarapulov, but they cannot disclose the details of the case - they took a non -disclosure subscription from them.

Update: to the ex-coordinator of the headquarters of Navalny in Irkutsk (recognized as an extremist organization and prohibited) Zakhar Sarapulov issued a ban on certain actions, he leaves home from the court, Siberia Vyacheslav Ivanets told Siberia.

• Zakhar Sarapulov tried to take part in the elections of the State Duma of 2021 from the Yabloko party, but he was refused to register for communication with an organization recognized as extremist.
• In early September, Ksenia Fadeeva said that the traffic police illegally refuses to terminate the proceedings on an accident that was not.
• In July, Fadeeva announced the surveillance of two cars, presumably, employees of one of the law enforcement agencies.

• On June 9, the Moscow City Court in the suit of the Moscow prosecutor’s office recognized as extremist organizations, banned and liquidated the corruption fund created by the Navalny Fund, the Fund for Protection of the Rights of Citizens and the “headquarters of Navalny” (FBK and FZPG were previously recognized in Russia by foreign agents).
• A criminal case on participation in an extremist organization was opened against Navalny and his supporters. Activist Lilia Chanyshev was detained in early November on charges of organizing an extremist community. Chanysheva headed the headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Ufa, which was disbanded in the spring, immediately after the FBK was recognized as an extremist organization. Despite the fact that since then, Chanysheva has not been engaged in opposition activities, they came to her with a search, and then they detained and put into custody. Cuts and a number of other Ufa supporters of Alexei Navalny passed searches, office equipment, communications and documents were seized.
• After the criminal case was initiated, several former coordinators of the regional headquarters of Navalny left Russia, fearing persecution.
