On December 29, the Voroshilovsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don sentenced five participants in a rally against the self-isolation regime in Vladikavkaz to real terms. This is reported by the "Caucasian Knot".
Protest participant Mikhail Bestaev was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison, Magomed Kantemirov and Artur Tsugkiev - three years and eight months in prison, and Gennady Sokurov and Georgy Farniev - three years and five months in prison. All the defendants were charged with an article on participation in mass riots (part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code).
On November 12, the Kirovsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don announced the verdicts of five more defendants in the case of a people's gathering in Vladikavkaz. They were sentenced from three to four and a half years in prison.

All of them were also charged with an article on participation in mass riots, one person was also accused of using violence against a policeman (part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code).
