Security forces come en masse to activists from the Samara region who filed a lawsuit against QR codes

It is known about visits to the representative of the Independent Association of Doctors Alina Lushavina, physician Irina Lavrova, civil activist Svetlana Belova and two more plaintiffs, whose names are unknown. The security forces are asking to go with them to the department to check information about the commission of an administrative offense - allegedly, when filing a lawsuit, the plaintiffs were in court without a mask.

On December 29, residents of the Samara region filed a lawsuit with the regional court demanding the cancellation of the decision of the region's governor Dmitry Azarov on the introduction of QR codes and the mandatory wearing of masks.

• On November 12, 2021, the State Duma proposed using QR codes with information about vaccination against coronavirus or medical documents to visit public places, travel by rail and air travel. Regional authorities will have to determine exactly where QR codes will be required. Many residents of Russia did not agree with this initiative, and protests began in a number of cities.
